Code of Conduct
effective from May 23, 2025
Introduction
This Code of Conduct sets out the key principles and values that guide the operations of STERNET sp. z o.o. The purpose of this document is to build trust, promote responsible behavior, and ensure compliance with legal regulations and best business practices.
1. Purpose and Scope
The Code applies to all employees regardless of their position, type of contract, or place of work, as well as to all collaborators and business partners acting on behalf of or for the benefit of the company.
2. STERNET Values
Our actions are based on the following values:

• Focus on Quality – We prioritize high-quality products and services as the foundation of the company’s success.
• Innovation – We focus on continuous development and the implementation of increasingly eco-friendly drive technologies.
• Collaboration – We strongly believe that we can achieve more together, which is why we engage in pro-environmental activities while promoting sustainable practices among our employees.
• Sustainable Development – We actively participate in the decarbonization of the economy, with a strong commitment to protecting the natural environment.
3. Compliance with the law
All STERNET employees and partners are obliged to comply with:
• the provisions of the Labor Code and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations,
• the Act on Counteracting Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism,
• national and EU regulations concerning economic sanctions.
The company fully adheres to trade bans and restrictions arising from applicable regulations of the Republic of Poland and the European Union. Any cooperation with entities from these countries or organizations affiliated with them is strictly prohibited within the company.
4. Anti-Corruption and Conflict of Interest
• It is strictly forbidden to offer, accept, or request any financial or personal benefits in order to gain a business advantage.
• All conflicts of interest (e.g., additional employment, family connections) must be reported immediately to a supervisor or the HR department.
• The company adheres to the principle of fair play in all business relationships, negotiations, and tenders.
5. Equality and Non-Discrimination
• The company promotes a culture of equality, respect, and diversity.
• Any form of discrimination based on gender, age, origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or other legally protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.
• Mobbing, harassment, and any other forms of persecution are unacceptable and will result in disciplinary action.
6. Working Conditions and Prohibition of Child Labor
• The company ensures fair remuneration in accordance with labor law regulations, regardless of gender, origin, or other personal characteristics.
• Every employee has the right to decent working conditions, as well as respect for working hours and rest time.
• The company strictly prohibits child labor and forced labor, in compliance with international conventions (including ILO standards and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child).
7. Protection of Information and Resources
• Employees are required to protect personal data, confidential information, and intellectual property in accordance with the GDPR.
• The use of company resources for private purposes is permitted only with the supervisor’s approval.
8. Relations with Clients and Partners
• All business relationships are based on transparency, integrity, and compliance with the law.
• Before entering into any cooperation, a due diligence analysis and sanctions list screening are conducted.
9. Reporting Violations
• Every employee has the right and obligation to report any suspected violations of the Code, legal regulations, or ethical standards.
• Reports may be submitted to a direct supervisor, the HR department, or via email at: [email protected].
• The company ensures confidentiality and protection of whistleblowers against retaliation (in accordance with the whistleblowing principle).
10. Enforcement of the Code
• Every new employee and business partner receives access to the Code and is required to be familiar with its contents.
• Violations may result in disciplinary action, including termination of cooperation, in accordance with applicable laws and internal regulations.
The Code enters into force on the date of its publication and is subject to regular review. All amendments are approved by the Management Board of STERNET sp. z o.o.
