FLUDEX operating principle

Hydrokinetic couplings operate according to the Föttinger principle, transmitting torque through the movement of fluid within the coupling, eliminating the need for oversized motors. This technology makes the couplings maintenance-free and extremely durable, enabling them to be used in demanding industrial environments.

Advantages of hydrokinetic couplings

In demanding industrial applications, the reliability and protection of drive components is crucial. Thanks to the smooth start-up, the risk of overload is eliminated, preventing excessive wear on components.

The design of FLUDEX couplings from FLENDER enables the optimisation of motor selection, resulting in reduced investment and operating costs. An additional advantage is that there is no need for lubrication, which simplifies operation and reduces maintenance costs.

The ability to dampen vibrations provides greater operational stability and protection of other components from dynamic loads. The resistance to high loads makes this solution ideal for the chemical industry, power generation and transport.
